About us

Born in Chennai. At home in T. Nagar.

Vurve opened its first salon in Chennai in October 2015 and has grown to 15 salons across Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Hyderabad. Our T. Nagar salon on Dr Nair Road opened in 2022 in the heart of one of Chennai's busiest neighbourhoods. We are not a franchise. Every salon is owned and run by us, so the same training, the same products and the same standards walk in with every stylist.

Our stylists are trained at Vurve Academy and by leading hair educators from India and abroad. We use Kérastase, Redken, L'Oréal Professionnel and Skeyndor because they work on Indian hair and skin.

In T. Nagar, our guests tell us what matters most: a clean, comfortable salon, appointments that are easy to get, stylists who listen without judgement, and a team that makes the whole family feel at home.

In town for a wedding? Our T. Nagar team regularly looks after families and guests visiting from abroad, from hair and makeup to massages before the big day.
